Flute
I
started playing flute in sixth grade in an
attempt to prevent anyone from noticing my
lack of singing abilities. I went on to participate
in all county twice in middle school and three
times in high school. I enjoyed marching band
for four years and ventured into the world
of track and crew as well. National Honor Society,
Beta Club, and Spanish Honor So-ciety also
became big parts of school. My best memories
are from the countless competitions and trips
in marching band where inside jokes were born.
It was easy to learn about photography with
so many hilarious and photogenic musicians
around. I plan to attend Virginia Tech and
be commissioned as an Army Officer while studying
middle eastern languages and cultures. Thank
you to my incredible family and every individual
that of-fered me guidance and kindness over
the years!
